DescriptionNetwork Operations Technician – Assist with the management of a Global Private IP network of switches in over 170 Points of Presence worldwide. Responsible for maintaining the IP network – ip switches, video devices and telecommunication circuits. Candidate would support site and service installations, troubleshooting and overall network and video application and customer service support on a 24 X 7 basis.
RequirementsA basic understanding of IP networking, both unicast and multicast, is required. Prospective employee should have a basic understanding of OSPF protocol and network routing. Knowledge of Riverstone Networks or Cisco command line interface (CLI) would be helpful.
This position supports the Media Operations and Video Service department within the organization.
Salary commensurate with experience.
